Terms & Conditions (Classic Line Decor)

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all orders placed on www.classiclinedecor.com (the “Store”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

By placing an order you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not place an order.


1. Definitions

  • Customer / you – the person or business placing an order on the Store.

  • Consumer (B2C) – an individual acting for purposes wholly or mainly outside their trade, business, craft or profession.

  • Business Customer (B2B) – a person or entity acting for purposes relating to their trade, business, craft or profession.

  • Goods / Products – items sold via the Store (including mouldings for wall and ceiling, furniture, lighting, mirrors and other interior items).

  • Made-to-order / Customised Goods – goods manufactured or supplied to your specifications, choices or instructions.

  • Working day – Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in Lithuania.

3. Eligibility & Customer Responsibilities

By placing an order, you confirm that:

  • You are legally capable of entering into a contract; and

  • You provide accurate and complete information (name/company details, address, postcode, phone, email).

You are responsible for ensuring you have sufficient knowledge to select products suitable for your intended use and space (including dimensions, installation requirements, and access conditions).


4. Using the Website & Accounts

You may place orders at any time (24/7).
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend access where misuse, fraud, or abusive behaviour is suspected.


5. Product Information, Specifications & Visual Representation

We aim to describe products as accurately as possible, including materials, finishes, colours, dimensions, and technical details.

5.1 Colour & display differences

Colours and finishes may appear differently depending on your device screen settings, lighting and display characteristics. Minor variation between on-screen representation and actual product appearance may occur.

5.2 Natural material characteristics

Products made from natural materials (e.g., wood, stone, marble, metal, glass, handcrafted elements) may show natural variations in colour tone, grain, texture, pattern and finish. These are inherent material characteristics and are not considered defects.

5.3 Furniture/interior items: additional notes & requirements

For products such as furniture, lighting and mirrors, please review specifications carefully. If you have specific requirements (e.g., exact finish, colour tone, fabric choice, wiring type, mounting style), you must clearly state them in the Order Notes at checkout.

If no additional requirements are provided, the product will be supplied according to the standard description/options shown on the product page.

5.4 Access and delivery conditions (large items)

You are responsible for ensuring safe delivery access (door widths, staircases, corridors, lifts, turning space, etc.). If delivery fails due to inadequate access or incorrect information, additional costs may apply.


6. Prices, VAT & Errors

6.1 Prices and VAT rules (B2C / B2B)

  • For Consumers (B2C) within the EU, prices are shown including VAT, unless stated otherwise.

  • For Business Customers (B2B) within the EU, VAT may be not charged (0% VAT) where valid VAT details are provided and the transaction qualifies under applicable VAT rules. You may be asked to provide a valid VAT number and billing details during checkout or before invoicing.

  • For deliveries to non-EU countries, local VAT/sales taxes, customs duties and import fees may apply in the destination country and are the responsibility of the recipient (see Section 10.4).

6.2 Pricing and description errors

Despite our best efforts, errors may occasionally occur (e.g., price, description, availability). If we discover an error before accepting your order, we will contact you to confirm the correct details or cancel the order and refund any amounts paid.


7. How Orders Are Placed

To place an order, you add products to your basket and proceed to checkout, where you provide delivery and invoicing details, select delivery and payment methods, and confirm your order.

After placing an order, you will receive an automated email acknowledging receipt. This is not acceptance of your order.

If payment is not completed within 7 working days, the order may be cancelled automatically.


8. Contract Formation (When a Contract Is Made)

A legally binding contract is formed only when:

  1. we have received confirmation of successful payment (unless Cash on Delivery is selected); and

  2. we send you an email confirming that the order is accepted and being processed and/or dispatched.

We may decline or cancel an order before acceptance, for example due to:

  • product unavailability,

  • pricing/description errors,

  • failed payment authorisation,

  • suspected fraud or misuse.

If we cancel after receiving payment, we will refund you without undue delay.


9. Payment Methods & Timing

Available payment methods are shown at checkout and may include:

  • Secure online payments via OPAY (e.g., online banking, payment cards, Apple Pay/Google Pay, payment initiation – depending on availability),

  • Bank transfer,

  • Cash on Delivery (Lithuania only) – additional fee €2.90,

  • In-store payment at our Vilnius showroom (card or cash).

Online payments must be completed promptly. We start processing and preparing orders only after payment is received.


10. Delivery & Collection

We deliver worldwide. Delivery times are estimates and depend on availability and destination.

10.1 Estimated delivery times (in-stock items)

  • Courier within Lithuania: 2–3 working days

  • Express to EU countries: 3–6 working days

  • Standard to EU countries: 4–8 working days

  • Other countries: up to 15 working days

If items are not in stock or are made-to-order, delivery may take 15–65 working days (depending on production and inbound logistics). We will confirm lead times where applicable.

10.2 Delivery charges

Delivery charges depend on weight, size and destination.

Lithuania:

  • Courier: €12.00–€50.00

  • Parcel lockers: €3.00–€13.00 (small items only; max 60 × 35 × 74 cm)

International:
For deliveries outside Lithuania (and/or for oversized items), shipping costs may be calculated individually. You will receive a final offer by email including delivery costs. You can then confirm the offer and proceed with payment.

10.3 Free collection

You may collect your order free of charge from our warehouse or showroom (time must be arranged in advance by phone).

10.4 Customs & import charges (non-EU)

For deliveries to countries outside the EU, the recipient is responsible for all customs duties, import taxes/VAT and related fees imposed by local authorities. These charges are not included in our prices or shipping fees unless explicitly stated. We are not responsible for these charges or for delays caused by customs procedures.

10.5 Delivery inspection

On delivery, please check the parcel packaging in the presence of the courier/postal worker where possible. If packaging is damaged or opened:

  • ask the courier/postal worker to record a damage report; and

  • notify us by email as soon as possible.

Please do not dispose of packaging until you have confirmed the goods are undamaged.


11. Risk, Title & Failure to Accept Delivery

Risk of loss/damage passes to you upon delivery (or collection). Ownership passes once full payment is received (unless mandatory law provides otherwise).

You must accept delivery. If delivery fails due to incorrect address details or your unavailability, you may be charged additional delivery/return costs.

We are not responsible for delays caused by courier services or incorrect details provided by the customer.


12. Installation & Assembly Services

Some customers may require installation/assembly services (for example: ceiling and wall mouldings installation, furniture assembly, lighting assembly).

  • If you would like installation/assembly services, please clearly mention this in the Order Notes during checkout (or contact us before placing your order).

  • The availability, scope and price of these services are agreed separately and are not included in the product price unless explicitly stated in writing.

  • Where services are arranged, we will provide a separate quotation and/or confirmation by email.

Please note: unless installation is agreed in writing, the customer is responsible for arranging suitable installation and ensuring compliance with any applicable safety/technical requirements.


13. Returns, Faults & Refunds

13.1 Faulty or incorrect goods

If goods are faulty or do not match the order, please contact us promptly with:

  • clear photos of the defect and the packaging label/information slip,

  • your order number and description of the issue.

We will review claims within 14 days of receiving returned goods (where return is required). We will repair, replace, reduce the price, or refund depending on the issue and applicable law.

13.2 Returns of non-faulty goods (goodwill return window)

You may return non-faulty goods within 20 days of purchase, provided that:

  • items are unused, undamaged, in original packaging,

  • in resalable condition.

Return shipping costs are paid by the customer. Additional costs may apply if:

  • you choose a non-standard shipping method, or

  • the goods cannot be returned via standard post due to size/fragility.

13.3 Made-to-order / personalised goods (no return)

Returns are not accepted for goods made to your specifications, personal choices, instructions, or clearly personalised to your requirements—unless they are faulty or not as described.

13.4 Refunds

Where a refund is due, we will refund without undue delay and no later than 14 working days after receiving your cancellation/return notice (and/or returned goods where applicable), using the same payment method unless agreed otherwise at no extra cost to you.

This Returns Policy does not affect your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws.

14. Inspection Timeframe & Reporting

We ask customers to inspect goods within 10 working days of delivery/collection and confirm they are undamaged and satisfactory.

If goods are not inspected within this period, it may affect our ability to investigate transit damage claims (for example, where courier damage evidence is no longer available).


15. Warranty & Statutory Guarantee

Some products may come with a manufacturer/seller warranty. Where provided, warranty terms will be communicated or supplied with the product.

In addition, we provide the following commercial warranty support for eligible furniture/lighting/mirror defects attributable to the seller, when used according to instructions:

  • Within 1 year of invoice date: we cover repair/replacement costs (including freight costs within Lithuania).

  • Within 2 years of invoice date: we cover 2/3 of repair/replacement costs (including freight costs within Lithuania).

Warranty does not apply to issues caused by misuse, improper installation, non-professional assembly, incorrect maintenance, or normal wear and tear.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any mandatory statutory consumer rights (including any legal guarantee that may apply).


16. Reviews & User Content (Comments)

If you post comments/reviews:

  • you must not infringe third-party rights, post unlawful content, or include abusive/defamatory material;

  • you remain responsible for your content.

We may remove comments at our discretion, especially where content breaches laws, third-party rights, or our community rules.


17. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

  • indirect or consequential losses (e.g., loss of profit, business, or opportunity),

  • delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control,

  • colour differences due to screen settings,

  • natural material variations as described in Section 5,

  • issues arising from improper installation, use, or maintenance (where installation has not been agreed with us in writing).

Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant goods, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.


18. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., courier disruption, customs delays, supplier/production disruptions, strikes, natural disasters, war, government actions).


19. Data Protection & Privacy

We process personal data only as necessary to handle orders, delivery and invoicing, in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Please see our Privacy Policy for details.


20. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms for important reasons (e.g., legal changes, operational changes). Any changes will include an effective date and will be published at least 7 days before they take effect.

Orders placed before the effective date will be governed by the Terms in force at the time the order was placed.


21. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Lithuania (the country where the company is registered), unless mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply.

We aim to resolve complaints amicably. If a dispute cannot be resolved, it will be handled in accordance with Lithuanian law and procedures.
