Luxurious bedroom

The bedroom is one of the most intimate and personal spaces. When furnishing it, the main criteria should be comfort, moderation and harmony. A natural, uniform color scheme, correctly selected furniture and respect for symmetry will guarantee the harmony of the room, time-tested high-quality decor without flashy fashions will demonstrate a relationship with moderation. And to create coziness, use proportions and soft, non-aggressive forms. Let horizontal lines dominate in the bedroom. They will visually lower the ceiling, it is better to avoid the feeling of endless space here. After all, small spaces are more often described as cozy, so the bedroom should be slightly lowered to human proportions. A wide wall strip (e.g., PCR-6072) will help create this, separating the lower third of the wall – paint this part in the darkest shade. The upper third of the remaining wall is separated by a thin decorative strip for walls (e.g., PCR-6003) and painted in the same color as the ceiling, and will visually be assigned to the latter zone. To make the transition even smoother, level the corner where the walls and ceiling meet using a corner strip for the ceiling (e.g., PCN-2050). This will erase the boundary between the walls and the ceiling – it will become ephemeral.

Choose only high-quality and pleasant-to-the-touch materials to create the interior. Remember that textiles are very important in the bedroom: carpet, bedspreads, upholstery of upholstered furniture and, of course, curtains. Often, when hanging luxurious curtains, the view is spoiled by cornices. A great solution to hide them and at the same time “crown” the cascades of silk curtains is a wide corner strip for the ceiling decorated with a serrated ornament (e.g., CN-3010).
